This is another one of the lovely images that Peggy, aka Marilyn Prestonn, sent me...the idea I started with was nothing like this, but you know how it is, things take on a different direction and...wah-lah...something new.
The embossed part of the rectangle has been done with a CB and a Fiskars Textured Tile, these were on sale at a local discount store, 4 for only $2, so I thought I would give the a try....and I am happy with the results. I inked the embossing, giving it more definition and then added the other layers. My circle is the snowflake, which is from some packets of Christmas embellishments/stickers that DH picked up in an after Christmas sale last year for only 50 cents for 5 packets - a great score..so this card really has been made on a budget.
I have been very careful to keep within the guidelines of the challenge, especially after realising that I had used an embellishment on my first one - small though be it, it was still a no-no...an honest no-no though (try saying that a few times! So, I hope you like this...thank so much for stopping by and looking!
